Andrew and I usually like to go out of town on Valentine's Day. This year, since we're trying to build a serious savings account, we decided against it. Instead, we had somewhat of a "stay-cation" over the weekend. No homework, no chores. It was nice. =] We started with a nice drive to Red Rock...
then a picnic on top of a boulder in the preserve...
a nice easy hike was next...
and we finished the day with a heart shaped pizza for dinner at home. Niether one of us are really that big on Valentine's Day itself, we're really more of a use-any-excuse-we-can-to-spend-time-with-eachother couple. =]
