On a better note, DH and I had an awesome time at Mt. Charleston over the weekend with the aforementioned Vron and Ryan. Between almost getting a ticket for parking over the invisible fog line, and both Vron and I forgetting our memory cards for our cameras, we all still managed to have a little good old fashioned fun. (yay for my Nikon's internal memory!)
DH and I, along with Jesse and Nicole, ventured into Mermaids on Fremont Street to see what the fuss was about with Deep Fried Twinkies and Oreos. The verdict? Twinkies.. boo. Oreos.. slightly satisfying. Mermaids.. never go within a yard or two of this place ever again.
To top off a great weekend, Andrew and I attended service at a church I have been wanting to checkout for a while now. I thought it went well, and we have both decided that this new church was a good fit for both of us. Have we found our home church at last??
