A ‘Veteran‘ — whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve — is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America,” for an amount of “up to, and including his life.”
Today we are supposed to take a moment to appreciate the men and women who have served for our freedom. While I appreciate my DH every day, today I appreciated him as my country's defender. Andrew Thomas Bunkers, you are my hero. <3
