Second Times A Charm

HOLY COW AM I GLAD IT IS MY FRIDAY!!! AHHHH!!! HAHAHAH!!! OMG!!!!

While only having 4 day workweeks are AMAZING, it has been kicking my butt as far as having time to do.. well.. anything other than school or work. Plus, now that midterms are over, my professors feel it is necessary to keep the stress levels up and assign a million papers and, wait for it... GROUP PROJECTS! Dun Dun Dun...

On a better note, my annual work pumpkin carving contest is upon us again. Last year I made an awesome crow in a cage, but didn't even place. This year I stepped it up, and made Cinderella's Carriage.. with my managers face on Cinderella, and my supervisors face on the Fairy Godmother.

Hopefully the second times a charm. If we win, our department gets on the trophy and we get a pizza party! WHOOHOO! I'll take pizza over EDR food any day.

And as if my day couldn't get any better, my super sweet co-worker gave me these earrings as a late birthday present. How very me... Thanks Malu!

UPDATE 11/10/10: We didn't win the contest. Another department made the catepillar from Alice and Wonderland... with 5 pumpkins. Since the rules said one pumpkin per department, I would say that is grounds for disqualifications, but oh well.
