Home Improvement

No matter how much I clean and organize the house, I still feel there is soo much to do. I hear this is normal, and I suppose it makes sense that possibilities of upgrading your home are endless. If I had the time and money, these improvements, both major and minor, would have been completed months ago.

HARDWOOD FLOORING. Who doesn't LOVE hardwood floors? Although, Andrew and I will probably go with engineered wood floors - more cost efficient and still beautiful.

BUILT IN BAR AREA. This is actually a picture of the model house of our floor plan. We currently have a giant cut out in the wall where it doesn't make sense to have anything but a built in bar. Plus, additional seating is always useful. I'm thinking our bar will be a little more extravagant - wine fridge, mini tap, and over head glass cabinets. =]

CUSTOM CLOSET SHELVING. Living in a house with no basement and minimal attic space really does, for lack of better words, suck. For this reason, room closets have become our main source of storage, and extra shelving in our main master closet would make an amazing difference.

TWO PERSON WORK STATION. Being a multi-student family means lots of time spent on the computers in the office. I wish I could figure out an efficient way to create 2 work stations in our office.

SINK FRONT SPONGE STORAGE. So trivial, but so clever. Goodbye soggy sponge, hello clutter free counters.
